#1: | Several weeks ago, I completed 25 random things and then lost it all in a bad transaction call. |
#2: | More than ten people have tagged me, so I felt the guilt to reply. Even enough to make me do it twice, here. |
#3: | Two weeks ago I spent two weeks in Maui, but have worked almost every single day while there. My 'vacation' was a workation, and I learned a lot about valuing myself and not taking on too much of the client's own anxieties and issues. It was an expensive lesson, but we learned it. |
#4: | I, jointly with my wife, run an web solutions company. Archer Web Solutions (http://www.archerwebsolutions.com) Come check us out. |
#5: | I have two sons: Elijah (turned 8 today 2/17) and Isaac (turns 4 on 3/14). |
#6: | I am really good at making friends, and really horrible about keeping up with them. I think of my friends all the time, but hardly ever call them. This is all compounded by the fact that I have no time for anything other than family and work, unless someone calls me and makes plans. |
#7: | Generally, I and my family are at home on Friday nights. Give us a call, and come on over. We'll feed you. |
#8: | There are days that I'm very happy with my business, and other days that I feel like a day job would be a hell of a lot easier. I'm not wrong on either types of days. |
#9: | I'm avoiding client work right now. That's because it's one of those other days today. |
#10: | I have too many windows open on my browser all the time. I have over 20-40 tasks going simultaneously at any given time, and sometimes it's a blessing in disguise when I'm forced to reboot the browser. |
#11: | I've had a long and convoluted spiritual path in my life, leading me down many different directions. I've even been a Rosicrucian. Today, I am a Jew. I still don't know what's behind the veil, and don't think the question is even answerable, but I like this group and I like the philosophy. I feel at home. |
#12: | I harbor a secret desire to be a rock singer. This is why I always participate in karaoke whenever it's available. I don't take the desire seriously, but I sure have fun with the fantasy. |
#13: | I'm inherently lazy, but I will work as hard as it takes to get a job done. |
#14: | My kidneys are connected in a horseshoe shape. This condition doesn't affect function, but can contribute to kidney stone production. I've had 2 bouts of kidney stones in my life already. |
#15: | I've had my gall bladder removed due to gall stones. |
#16: | I have forgotten what it feels like to be bored. I have no idea what that's like. |
#17: | I am a professional mead maker, and the owner of Beowulf Mead. |
#18: | I miss my friends that life too far away for me to see on a regular basis. |
#19: | I'm the pack committee chair for my son's cub scout pack. |
#20: | I miss my education buddies, and all the conferences I used to attend. |
#21: | I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. |
#22: | I love playing games, and took Elijah to his first gaming convention this past weekend. He had a blast, as did I. I think I'm gonna start going to gaming conventions again as a general practice. |
#23: | I am very loyal, easy to befriend, slow to anger, and quick to forgive. Because of this, I can be taken advantage of pretty easily. I'm learning to be a harder person, but I don't like the process or the necessity. |
#24: | I am a horrible liar, unless it really matters. I just prefer to work from a place of truthfulness. |
#25: | I have done things that I regret, and just have to live with that. |
